Ok, so let's fast forward about almost 1 year and 11 months. No longer living in Minneapolis, no longer married, but still have the best guy in my LIFE my "Son" who turns out to be the best person in my life. Strange how life should change, what a new direction it took, tears, laughter, understanding, thinking, get a way from it all, exploration, and a sense of life will move on.
I think that with out "U2" constant music, lyrics and great music my life would have been a lot different. U2's music have been with me since 1983 until present time and will carry me on until the end of my time on earth, don't get me wrong I have no reason, nor any thoughts of leaving this World as we know it yet, I hope to be an old grey haired Grandpa that will still listen to U2 when I'm no longer able to walk, but can think, be reasonable with my family and crack a joke or two in my old age.
U2 they are my unsung friends in all of this, from the lyrics of "ONE 2 STILL HAVEN'T FOUND WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR" I have as a person gotten a lot of good vibes from listening to their songs and in some way they have helped me to see the bigger picture in all of this. In a divorce there are two sides to the same story and for once I think that I got really burned but that's another story. Sitting here on the opposite end of the world on a small island with a 1000 other people is a great thing if you want to make a blog, there aren't to many single females here and I'm really not looking. I just want to chill, listen to some great music and take life as it comes for a while.
I am currently out looking for work and would like to get back into the shipping industry again but perhaps because of my age the "Boat has left the Dock" and I would have to settle for something less interesting but fun to do. I could start and run a promotional marketing company of some sorts, help kids in need,or ?? Only time can tell and we shall see.
At least for today life is good and I am looking forward to tomorrows sunrise with eager anticipation :)
